The Top 5 Foods for Weight Loss

When it comes to good health and a fit body, nothing beats clean eating, regular physical activity, and healthy lifestyle. For those of you looking to jump start those health goals and get your body back on track, here are the top 5 foods for weight loss:

Fermented Foods: Fermented foods (such as kimchi, kefir, and kombucha) contain live cultures, known as probiotics, which promote gut health, reduce inflammation, and increase nutrient absorption. Studies have shown that regular consumption of fermented foods can reduce abdominal fat by as much as 5%. Get the most weight loss benefits by consuming 1-2 servings of fermented foods daily.                                                                                                                     137988545

Green Tea: Studies repeatedly show that sipping green tea helps increase metabolism and burn fat. Try replacing your morning coffee with this antioxidant loaded beverage, or sneak it into your afternoon smoothie for a fat burning energy boost.

Eggs: Consuming eggs at breakfast enhances weight loss when part of a balanced, healthy diet. With their high protein and vitamin B12 content, eggs keep blood sugar stable and energy levels high. If cholesterol is a concern, opt for egg whites instead of whole eggs.

Kale: This antioxidant loaded green vegetable is a powerhouse of nutrition. Low in calories but high in calcium, vitamin K, iron, fiber, vitamin C, and vitamin, this superfood helps your body function at its highest. Add kale to an egg white omelet in the morning, salad in the afternoon, or sauté for a delicious side dish at dinner.

Wild Caught Salmon: Protein, vitamin D, and omega-3 fatty acids found in wild salmon decrease inflammation and provide the body with much needed vitamins and minerals. These nutrients also promote a healthy metabolism while keeping hunger levels stable, aiding weight loss efforts. Eat 2-3 servings of wild caught salmon per week.

Whatever your health goals may be, incorporating these foods into your daily diet contributes to overall weight management, balance, and wellness.

  3. I am so lucky to really love Mediterranean food, I have also tried Mediterranean diet which includes a lot of fish (especially Salmon because of the great Omega-3 which we cannot produce in our body so have to take it with food). Besides that, I also try to eat a lot of almonds, nuts, etc. those are also excellent “snacks” that help not gaining a lot of weight.

For antioxidanst (and if I remember corretly Weight-Loss as well) blueberries are my favorite.
